Mizo Department organised Special Lecture on Mizo Language & Literature on 14th February, 2019 1:00 PM at HD Rosanga Multipurpose Hall. Prof. Laltluangliana Khiangte was the keynote speaker addressing at the audiences on the importance of Mizo language and literature in modern society.
Inaugural function of Fire prevention week, 2019 (11th – 16th Feb) was held at HD Rosanga Multipurpose Hall, Govt. Serchhip College on 11th Feb 2018 at 1:00 pm.

Department of Mizo organised a meeting with the parents of their students on 18th September, so as to build a stronger and closer relationship with them. The underlying objective of the meeting being the promotion of better cooperation and mutual understanding in their respective endeavour of bringing about the overall developments of the students.
Annual College Week for the academic session 2018-2019 was successfully organized by the Students’ Union Leaders with the help of the teachers.
The event was inaugurated by the eteemed Principal Dr. C Sangluaii (Asso. Professor) who graced the ocassion as the Chief Guest.

On August 21st, Serchhip District Sanitation Task Force, NSS and Eco Club of Govt. Serchhip College join hands in organising Cleanliness Drive at College campus, Sesah river and Hmawngawn river. Three hundred students are send off to undertook this Cleanliness Drive. Continue Reading

Mizoram Science Technology & Innovation Council (MISTIC) in collaboration with Govt. Serchhip College organizes ‘Sensitization Workshop on Climate Change in Mizoram’ at HD Rosanga Multipurpose Hall. This workshop aims to create an awareness on Global Warming, its inevitable consequences and its prevention as well as human adaptation in such condition.
